the room is ok,but oldies pattern of blanket cover..
breakfirst is suitable for malay,for foreigner,there's not much choices..event the pool is very long,but there's no pool for user which does'nt brought their swimming suit with..important thing is,my family CAN'T SLEEP at superior room..staff at this hotel is good,event their housekeeping..

To many unsatisfied things about the room
1) Half broken door lock.
2) Dirty bad sheet
3) Broken cabinet.
4) Broken Aircon
5) Dirty Bathroom

really surprised to me! Last time i was here and everything is really good but now it really bad.I stay for deluxe room, and the floor was no carpet and the water pressure its really worst! The floor tile at bathroom was slippery and dirty. Just the satff is really friendly but the condition of the hotel was bad! My wife also feel really bad and this the last time she will be here.

We just came back from langkawi last week,we stay at this hotel for 4 day and 3 night,we not able to get to sleep nicely even one night because the air-cond is leaking and the worst thing is the music is so loud from the pub or party ???
until midnight 3 am,if you don't mine to disco until 3 am at night then is ok for you to stay there.

Overall the hotel room is okie if you don't mind the surrounding area. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 night. The room without carpet and the floor is clean when we entered the room. I have two adjoining room connecting each other. Besides, the housekeeper clean-up my room the next day. The only problem staying there was the air-con very noisy and leaking at night. Besides, one of the main door is not functioning well. So, the hotel need to focus on maintenance.
I like to stayed at Aseania Resort because the convenience shop is just a walking distance, morning breakfast at the shop nearby just the corner of the hotel, beach just a walking distance and a free broadband wireless internet access at the hotel lobby.

basically the rate is ok. The room is ok, quite big and comfort. But the breakfast is awfuk. Need more improvement. Suitable for the family, since the pool is quite big and got some variety is terms of the design. Strategic location; nearby food central since its located at Cenang Beach area. Nearby Underwater World. Can walk within 5 mins. About 10-15 mins from Langkawi Airport and 30 mins from Kuah Town. Take about 5 - 10 mins to the bot jetty if you are plan to do island hopping activity (Dayang Bunting Island, Beras Basah Island and Eagle Feeding). 20 mins to Cable Car. As a conclusion, its an option for budget trip purposes.

The first impression was good location, nice looking resort. Fom then on it was downhill. We were greeted quite professionally by the hotel staff. The room given to us had faulty air conditioning-not cold and makes a lot of noise. The room is spacious but the bathroom is quite deplorable. The tiles and WC is stained, and the bathoroom door is peeling. We were disturbed at about 3am by some hooligans walking along the walkway with loud voices and they knocked on the room doors very loudly and ran off laughing. When we complained the following morning, the hotel staff mentioned that nothing can be done, as this could be the hotel guests after their 'fun night' at the hotel's discotheque. The buffet breakfast is edible, nothing great, but expected from a 3 star hotel. I will probably not stay at this resort if I ever go back to Langkawi for a holiday.

Our stay at the Aseania Resort, Langkawi was extremely disappointing. The rooms were dirtyand all fittings and fixtures were severly run down. We like a number of people we spoke to were annoyed at the level of noise and general lack of basic amenities. The breakfast meals were inedible and we will not be staying there again.

I have been to Aseania......in March 2005. I have booked 3 superior room for my family. Surprisingly, the floor were not covered with carpet.....so cold at night (especially for my parents)........I do agree that cleanliness of the pool and hotel needs a lot of improvement......and I wonder why foreigners always been given priority to book their room for nice view....i.e side pool view...why we malaysian being discriminated by ASEANIA?? WILL FIND OTHER HOTEL FOR COMING VACATION and NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OTHERS

We were delighted when our room was upgraded from superior to deluxe for free. But once we enter the room, there is a lot of complain to be made. There are cobwebs on the ceiling and on the four corners of the room. Seems like there is no one using the room for some time already. The bathroom was in a deterioting stage...the toilet bowl with stain and dirty, could get myself to sit on it during my stay at the hotel unless necessary. The towel also with stain, looks like blood or some sort like that. After the housekeeping on the 2nd day of my stay, the room is still with cobwebs! Moreover, they took the towels and did not leave us any towel to use! We just came back from our sightseeing tour and ready to take a shower when we realise there is no towel in sight. We called the housekeeping and have to wait over an hour before we get our towels...can you imagine us all sweaty while waiting for the towels?? I will definately not recommend anyone to go to this hotel after my dreadful stay here.

I stayed at Aseania Resort twice. The first time at Aseania Resort on September 2004 was unsatisfactory as the deluxe room given was not clean. Besides, room is dimmed and the interior of the bathroom looks old. The second time at Aseania Resort on April 2005 was satisfactory as the superior room give has just refurbished. The room/bathroom is clean and all the furniture looks new. Overall service is satisfactory and I will visit again.

The most worst hotel I have ever stayed. The Gym staff need a slap on their face. Very not friendly at all. Aseania u need a big changes around there a lot a fast, because it will ruined your business.

Aseania need critical improvement, the room was not cozy at all, u must expecting something nice or great when u pay for something. Even my room at my house is much bigger then the room that I've stayed in Aseania and it was free. No, I would not recommend it to others, not in a million years. The pool is not kept clean also, only the front one that opposite the Lobby was clean, the side was very messy with the falling leaves and all, and during my stay there was some construction going on and early morning I woke up with the sound of the drilling and welding, not good at all for the Hotel reputation and bussiness.
Aseania u need to improve much much much more that u are having now. Good Luck.

I've stayed in Asenia from 31st March 2005 to 1st April 2005, got a great deal from a friend, Asenia is in poor condition, do not fool with the picture u saw in the website coz it is not like what u saw, Asenia should improve the hotel condition and also the staff, they only friendly with the expat guess but not to local guess, at first I got a room with hill view and belive me it was't a nice view, after a long talk with the reception, I got the pool view but only side pool view, I notice that the only the expat got a room with the nice view coz I chat with a few. By the way the swimming pool was great my kids love them.
I will not recommend Asenia to u guys who are going as a couple or honeymoon, who wanna have a relaxation holidays coz at night time the sond of the discotheque could be bothersome. I kids said that if the TSUNAMI come u would know it with all this bangging going on. And there is no room with the sea view, u came so far away at least you wanna fall a sleep with the sound of the beach wave not the disco wave.
Despite of the poor hotel my holiday was a blast.

Please pardon me for my "busybodiness".
I found this wedsite while I was surfing to get some information of hotels in Kangar.
By reading the previous 3 comments given here, I pretty "worried" and yet "keen" to go to stay in your resort because there is a same point from the previous 3 person: "poor maintenance" and "good services provided by your staff".
Normally, people be there for vacation and therefore people are expecting something "looked nice" especially your resort is rated 3 STARS and located in Lamgkawi Island.
I will be there for vacation also and if I bring my friend(s) there and found out those "poor maintenance", I will get the blame also from my friend(s) as I am organising the trip.
If all the maintenance have been done properly, I think the Marketing people should do some promotions on this to re-gain the public's confidence.
It's really a waste for such a good team of staff to work so hard and yet nobody is going to stay at the resort due to the "poor maintenance". All their efforts will be ruined.
