The Swiss-Garden Resort & Spa Damai Laut is
a very private hotel, built on a quiet peninsular on the Northern

The Gayam Seafood Barbeque and Bar Sitting on stilts, on a rock outcrop overlooking the Straits of Malacca, a relaxing evening at The Gayam is accompanied by the sea breeze and the therapeutic sounds of crashing waves on the beach. A simple yet delightful menu complements your already perfect evening as you wine and dine against the ever-changing backdrop of the horizon.

The Garden Terrace
Garden Terrace is enclosed with glass frames that allow one to appreciate the infinity pool on one side while the bigger view captures the serene ocean of the Straits of Malacca. This coffee house is now fully air-conditioned and adorned with contemporary furnishing. The interior elaborates refined concept of pastel white that stimulates a calming effect while dining in sheer exclusivity and comfort.
With this latest renovation, guests have the choice to dine-in at this new eating scene or alfresco dining at the cover terrace. Garden Terrace serves buffet meals, from Asian to Western recipes. It is also available for group bookings up to 120 persons.
The Garden Terrace is open daily from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. a-la-Carte menu is available throughout, while room service is available 24 hours.

By Air The Resort is accessible by air through regular scheduled direct
flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport or Subang Airport,
landing at Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Ipoh, followed by one hour
drive to Lumut and a 15 minute ferry trip from Lumut jetty.
By Road
The resort is accessible by road from Kuala Lumpur via the Noth-South
Expressway. Exit at Gopeng and drive through the township of Batu
Gajah and Segari to the resort. On the other hand, if you an a 15
minute ride to the resort.
You could also opt to take a scenic drive from the Sitiawan/ Majung
area up the new Tuanku Bainun Bridge for a 30 minute drive to the
resort.
Private transportion can also be arranged with Swiss-Garden International
sister hotels in Kuala Lumpur, namely Swiss-Garden Hotel and Swiss-Inn
Kuala Lumpur.

1) The room is well maintenance and clean
2) The breakfast also ok. but lunch is not much choices
3) The receptionist and staffs are nice and friendly (always smile)
4) The activities not so much, quite boring especially night time
Overall is a very nice place for relaxing purpose.

room : ok (but i think it's overrated due to lack of maintenance-we requested to change to other room coz the air-cond was not properly functioned.thank god they managed to arrange for it within 45 mins.
room service : excellent-within reasonable time for delivery+the taste is good.we request for extra bed and the delivery was quite fast.
room amenities : comfortable,except for the TV-need to change to a bigger screen or LCD maybe.btw,the fridge was not functioning.warm from the minute we went inside till check out time :)
garden terrace(breakfast) : overall ok.
swimming pool : great!!my children enjoyed it very much.the pool is big.
fun beach : quite clean.just enjoy the scenery of the sea.i didn't try for the beach activities offered.but seems to have a lot of activities.however, the staff in-charged is limited and not much assisting those who rent for kayak,etc.

1) Hotel facility - Great
2) Staff - Helpful and cheerful
3) Breakfast - Reasonable good
4) Recreation centre - Limited staff and choice
5) Lunch and Dinner - We went outside of hotel. Not less than 30km drive from hotel for good seafood.
6) Fun beach - Nothing to shout about. Just a normal beach with limited activities.
Overall is a great hotel for relaxation.

Is this really a Swiss Garden hotel? Very secluded and the road to the hotel is not good. Stayed there for 4 N5 D recently. Very dissapointed actually. The hotel is barely survived. Where is the bell boy?
Stayed in seaview room. Old and scary block. The scenery is execellent but is wasted if the hotel did not improve the overall. Room Service and front desk is bad. Food is even worse-maybe that's why the price is reasonable.

I m extremely dissapointed with this hotel . I have spend one night with my wife around November 2009 .
I have lost my watch in the room and informed the management regarding this matter .
They have asked me to lodge a police report on this for submission of insurance claim to the hotel. After countless follow ups , they promised to pay for the watch but ended up keeping quite about it .
I view this as a total disrespect to their customer . Even until now I m still waiting for their reply on this issue and it has been more than 6 mths .
Its a good place but the management has a very bad attitude .

Friendly staff. Breakfast was a letdown, not at all to the standerds of a 4 star hotel. Expect more cleanliness in the restuarent and facilities, The facilties and service does not live upto the expectaion of Swiss-garden !! A bit disappointed.

the reception and all the hotel staff were so kind and helpful. We liked the food and enjoyed our stay very much. The pool is big enough and we played water polo even in the rain. The fun beach is also nice and clean. However the room service was quite slow may be because of staff shortage. We are thinking of going back there again.

Had 2D1N stay for a short break vacation... and WE love it so much. 2D1N is not enough as there's so many activities that can be done. WE had some difficulties of getting to the resort as this is the 1st time we went there, but WE were guided by a very patience staff by the name of RAVI & we made it eventhough its 5pm. By just looking at the ambience and sorounding, made us forgot about everything. WE are planning of going there again & this time WE gonna book for the seaview room & stay there for 3D2N. WE love Swiss Garden Damai Laut. Thanks CUTI!!

The ambience were superb especially our room view facing the sea. The food was okay but since we have to spend on dinner buffet for 2 nites plus one lunch in room dining, was quite dissapointed. The caterer should be aware that guests won't go out for dinner (since the place is so deep inside plantation and far from town)they should come up with different buffet menu every nite..The first day breakfast menu was okay to my throat but couldn't take it for another 2 more days! Sorry chefs! Apart from that we had a great time spending our day at the beach and pool. And the staffs are quite friendly and helpful.

-been here 4 2nd time..becoz..IT WAS A GREAT PLACE!!
-got seaview room,very nice view...
-a lot of activities can be done...archery..with no extra cost!
-food also great..
-have to improve the front liner..sour face to guest..and when 1st time i went there in 2005, i have to stand for a long Q to check in eventhough i was pregnant 7 month that time with NObody form the reception want to assist me!

My family & I just came back from holiday. 3D2N stay (21 Dec ~ 23 Dec 07) at this hotel was the best for the 5 of us. My 3 small kids were happier; walking along the beach, nice swimming pool, nice staff, nice place, nice room.....we'll be back again for sure!!!

I've been there a few times. A very nice resort which guarantee you a very pleasent and peaceful holiday. The first time I went there is for my honeymoon, since then we kept going back to the resort. Excellent services, nice food, and most of all among the most beautiful lanscaped swimming pool I've ever encountered. Would certainly recommended this resort to all cuti members who wish to indulge in a peaceful ambience.

Stayed for 2 days in Deluxe Seaview (company trip) The room is good-clean and comfortable.The food is good as well. esp ROTI CANAI.But the place is very far from town. (around 30mnts)Overall, this hotel is a great place to relax
